With a focus on defensive and safe driving, you’ll be ready to get on the road in no time.
In-Class (20hrs)
Our 20 hours of theory prepares students for the road by providing them with extensive knowledge in order to promote safe driving. During in-class instruction, two tests are administered of which an average grade of 70% must be achieved to pass.
Home-Link (10hrs)
The Home-Link workbook is a part of our curriculum used to help students prepare for real driving scenarios. The workbook must be completed at home and submitted by the student prior to the completion of the in-car component.
In-Car (10hrs)
Our in-car component offers 10 hours of one-on-one instruction where we will endeavor to teach the following:
- Driving is a privilege, not a right
- Increase personal observation skills
- Reinforce road etiquette and courtesy
- Emphasize driver knowledge and responsibility
- Proper driving techniques for city and highway driving
- Parking and turning manoeuvres
- Introduction to multi-lane driving
- Emergency manoeuvres
- Road surface changes
Course Completion
When in-car instruction is near completion, a practice road test will be done of which a passing grade of 70% must be achieved to pass.
